Can't wait!!

Don't forget to follow on my other addictions, because I am on there quite often!

April Favourites 2013!

I don't really know whether its a bit late to be doing April Favourites but I have really been loving a few products for the month of April and I feel very eager to share them with you, so here they are!

Witch naturally clear facial cleanser
I have been using this cleanser for quite a while now not only for the month of April and I absolutely love it! I have combination skin with and oily T-Zone (annoying) so I tend to avoid cleansers that are cream based because they just make the oiliness of my skin even worse which causes me to break out. This one is great because its foam based and one of the things that I love most about this cleanser is that after I have put my skin through torture with wearing makeup all day, when I wash the makeup off at the end of the day, its takes everything off and leaves nothing behind so you know that you are not clogging your pores it also means that you don't have to use a toner which lets be honest takes way too much effort. You will be able to purchase this in any Boots I would imagine.

Simple purifying cleansing lotion
After I have cleansed my face I use this moisturiser which kind of balances everything out in the sense that the cleanser does the job of drying my skin, making sure that it controls the oil levels and the cleansing lotion makes sure that my skin doesn't get too dry and cause me break out. Same with this product I have been using it for quite a while now and not only for the month of April. The two products work really well together if you are like me and have combination skin with an oily T-Zone I definitely recommend trying these two products out the cleansing is water based as well and Simple products are great because all the ingredients are natural so you know that you are not going to damage your skin with any harsh chemicals, you will be able to purchase this from Boots as well.

di palomo wild fig & grape hand cream
I have been loving this hand cream for the month of April. What I love about this hand cream that its really dry but moisturising at the same time, because most of the time hand creams are too moist and not very absorbent which it just leaves your hands feeling sticky. Before trying this product I was not familiar with the brand at all so I didn't really know what to expect but turned out to be great. One of the things that I love about it as well is that its a really small size so you can just throw in your bag and you are good to go. This product was actually given to me by my mum from this event that she went to, so I'm not too sure where you will be able to get this product, the name does sound a bit foreign but a little browse on the internet won't hurt, its worth it.

Collection 2000 pressed powder

Love, love, love! I think I might have used this everyday for the month of April which is quite evident because I have hit pan. It is a translucent powder so it doesn't give off any colour which means that it would pretty much work for any complexion. I loved using this after I have applied my foundation and concealer and all that good stuff , it worked great as a setting powder so you don't have to wait too long for your makeup to set, I am one of those people who always forgets to put primer on and only remember after I have applied foundation (so annoying). I can not believe its lasting me this long because I used it so much. You would be able to purchase this from any Boots store. I just hope and pray that they don't choose to discontinue this product.

MAC Paint Pot
I am so in-love with my paint pot! I have it in the shade "quite natural" which is a little bit darker than my skin tone, I use it as a eye shadow base as well as a eye primer; I think it works well for both purposes. I bought this from the MAC counter around January time and only decided to use it for the month of April for some reason and it has been amazing. I am definitely planning to buy another one once this one is used up which I don't think is anytime soon because it looks like one of those products that last you a very long time which I'm not complaining about. If I do get another paint pot, I might get it in a different shade just to try them all out. Definitely recommend! I'm pretty sure you could get this online or at any MAC counter.

Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara
My favourite part when doing my makeup is applying mascara and this mascara has just taken it up a notch. This one is in intensive black because I love my eyelashes being really dark. My favourite thing about this mascara is the wand, it makes it really easy to apply on the inner lashes and the bottom lashes without any smudges. It gives my eyelashes super volume which is a thumbs up for me because I am pretty content with the length of my eyelashes its just that I feel I don't have a lot of them and this mascara does a good job of making them look like I have a lot more. Just like the others you can get this from any Boots.

Bourjois Intuitive liner
This liquid liner is quite interesting to any of the others I have tried because of the unusual applicator but believe it or not it actually makes it a lot more easier to apply because the whole idea behind it is that you create dots along your lash line and then fill them in, which I think is pretty impressive. My favourite thing about this product is that it lasts very long on the eyelid meaning it doesn't really fade away as time goes on because what I have found with liquid liners that I have tried in the past is they fade away as time passes and it would be a bit of hassle trying to apply more on top of that, so if you are looking for a liquid liner that is easy to apply and will last long I think this is your pick.

Price's Scented Candle
I have got this candle in the scent "Sweet Vanilla" and I am so in-love with this. It is such a strongly scented candle and I just light for about 30 minutes and my whole room smells like sweet vanilla. I am all for anything that smells nice! I am definitely thinking about trying these candles in other scents and I think you should to if you are like me and are obsessed with scented candles.

Company UK April Issue
The last item is my absolute favourite magazine! As soon as I saw Emma Stone on the cover I just had to get it, she is such a funny/brilliant actress and don't think anyone can disagree after watching Crazy, Stupid, Love (I think that's what its called) or The Help. This issue was a music issue which is right up my street because I do love my music! One of my favourite things about Company is that they include high street fashion and high fashion looks unlike some other magazines which are either one or the other. Every month I make it my duty to purchase this magazine.

Let me know in the comments if you tried any of these items before? if yes what did you think about it? If you have any other post ideas that you would like me do, fashion or beauty let me know in the comments as well.

OOTD: Yellow / Jaune

Parka Jacket: Newlook
Mustard Yellow Shirt: Next
Plain Black Skinnies: Miss Selfridge
Shoes: Newlook
The Jewels: Topshop/ Newlook

Hey, so yesterday I was out shopping with my beautiful mother who was also kind enough to be my photographer. I put together this very casual outfit which literally took me minutes, no joke. I mean you can't really go wrong with a parka jacket which just to let you know I have worn almost every weekend ever since I got it which was, I think last December. I think what attracted me to it was the leather sleeves, I paired that with a mustard yellow shirt, a pair of black skinnies, Jeffrey Cambell (kinda) look-a-likes and lastly accessorised with my gold jewels

Let me know what you think? I would love to hear. :)

Tag: Would you rather- beauty edition

So... I am coming at you with a Tag! I thought this tag would be particularly interesting after reading some of the questions, even though some of the questions are pretty much impossible to answer. I'll try my best.

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
I think I would rather lose all my palettes and eyeshadows one of the reasons being because I don't really own that many and I can do without doing my eyes. I'm much more of a lip colour kinda girl.

2. Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Well...I do love my long hair, so I think I would rather never be able to cut it again and I could always just wear it up all the time which I don't really mind that much because that will just enable me to do really cool different hairstyles and I do think that my hair will get to a certain length and just stop growing.

3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
I probably would rather have a pink cheek only because I feel like you have to be a certain skin tone to be able to wear coral, people who are of a pale complexion usually look really gorgeous with coral cheeks. I think pink cheeks would compliment my skin tone a bit better depending on the shade of pink as well.

4. If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Ooooooh difficult question...Even though I absolutely love makeup I would rather spend the money on clothes because makeup does expire and buying makeup for that amount of money means that you have to use it all up within a certain amount of time its usually 6 months, correct me if I'm wrong? and anyway I always feel as if I don't have enough clothes so yeah... definitely clothes!

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Oh my goodness.. they both sound as bad as each other. I think I would rather use eyeliner as lipstick because the thought of using lipstick as eyeliner just doesn't feel or sound right.

6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
I can't really make a fair judgement on this one because I have never used any Sephora products. I do wish there was a Sephora where I live but unfortunately there is not and it doesn't help when people who do have a Sephora near them have such amazing reviews on the makeup. BUT I do love my beloved MAC products (favourite brand of makeup) so I would rather only shop at MAC as far as I know.

7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip color for the rest of your life?
I would rather only use one eyeshadow colour because I do tend to go quite neutral with my eyes and I think I would prefer to change up my lip colour rather than my eyeshadow colour.

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?I mean.. what even is this question? because either way you are screwed. I'm just going to answer this question based on the weather where I live and say that I would rather wear winter clothes in the summer because some days in the summer tend to be cold but if I chose to go with the summer clothes in winter option I would literally freeze to death and to be quite honest I'm only 16 years of age, too young to die.

 9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
I would definitely rather have bright nails all year round only because I think that nail colour is one thing that you don't really have to bother too much about going through the different seasons and because I think that bright/lighter colours suit me better.

10. Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
Would rather give up favourite lip product because I don't really have one, it changes all the time. My favourite eye product is my paint pot by MAC and I absolutley love that and would be really difficult for me to give that up!

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Definitely a messy bun type of girl!

12. Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
I would rather never be able to use lipgloss. If you have read my post on the "Avon Nail Varnishes" you would know that I could never be able to live without painted nails that just wouldn't be Lucille Chetty.

13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?OMG. I know its absolutely ridiculous but I think that I would sharpie them on everyday, I don't really care about how much of an idiot I would look all I know is that it would look a lot better than not having any eyebrows at all. (eyebrows are really important to me).

14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
NO. worst question! I would probably choose to live without nail polish. I love makeup too much to live without it and anyway I think I need makeup more than I need nail polish.

Hope you enjoyed this tag, let me know if there are any others that you would like me to do and lastly if you have tried both, MAC and Sephora products which brand of makeup do you prefer? If you could let me know in the comments that will be cool, I would love to hear?

Camo&Neon mash up!

I put together this really cool outfit (well at least I think so), its slightly grungy with the creepers but you could also just wear it with combat boots or like the pair that I have shown below. I didn't take very good pictures of the full outfit, I apologise for that but I think you get the general idea.
white plain tank top: anywhere
camo over-sized shirt: New Look
Velvet (kind of) skirt: New Look
Knee High Socks: M&S
Neon Pink Mini Satchel: Topshop
Creepers: New Look
Laced up suede boots: New Look
Spiked Necklace: Topshop
Rose Gold Watch: Newlook
(sorry, I really can't remember the prices to all of these items but each of them are under £20.00)
I mean who doesn't love a bit of camo and neon in their lives so I decided to mash the two up in this outfit:

I hope this gave some what an idea of how you could style camo or neon and I would love to know in the comments what you thought about the outfit. If you have any posts that you would like me to do just let me know in the comments as well and I would gladly do them!

Avon Nail Varnishes!

Wow, feels like I have not been on here in years! But I do feel like I am back on track now even though I still have so much going on with school, I think I should make time for my blog!
I have recently bought few products from the Avon catalogue which I was quite hesitant about because I have never bought anything from Avon before so I didn't really know what to expect but also really excited to try new products. I'm always up for trying new products as long as its not foundation. I did get a few skincare stuff that I haven't tried yet but I was particularly impressed with their "30 second speed dry nail varnishes".

I got four in the shades Ballerina, Suddenly Sunny, Vamp it and Sprightly Mint (left to right)  that is one thing that always attracts me to products, the name. I thought that these would be great for S/S13 and if you know me well enough you would know that theres nothing I hate more than un-painted nails. I feel like having painted nails is like wearing an accessory. I have tried all of these on my nails and I love them all, they all do what they say and dry in 30 seconds, one of the reasons why they dry so quick is because the consistancy of it is quite weak which is not much of a problem because you can always add more coats according to how you like it. Can not wait to wear these this coming months and I will definitely buy more products from Avon they sell amazing products at such good prices.Definitely recommed having a look at the catalogue!

Let me know which one is your favourite in the comments!?

Celine Luggage Tote Vs Cambridge Satchel

Not going to lie I have been kinda slacking with my blog lately which is not something that I am proud of but I do have a perfectly valid excuse: I have been doing a lot of revising of late because I am in my final year GCSE's, and my exams are not too far away which makes me want to cry just typing it.

BUT, forget the slightly depressing part of my life; lets all take time to admire the these two gorgeous creations the Celine Luggage Tote Vs Cambridge Satchel two items that are definitely on my wish list, even though the price is SO of my budget. A girl can dream right?

I don't think that these two bags have ever been compared to each other because they are completely different to one another. The Celine Luggage Tote looks very chic and not very practical in other words it would need to be well taken care of especially considering the price which is $2,000 for the solid colour which could go up to at least $3,400 according to size. The bag comes in four different sizes, nano, micro, mini and phantom and after watching a fair amount of YouTube videos on reviews for these beauties it was all positive. A lot of the YouTubers said that they manage to fit quite a bit of stuff in there such as a laptop, Ipad, a book, purse and a phone all in at once this obviously goes for the phantom but for the smaller sizes you would want to be a more cautious with the weight of the items that you put in the bag because the wear and tear of the bag will not last very long. Overall, the Celine bag is definitely something that I would like to purchase when I have finances (LOL). My attraction for this bag definitely came from the Kardashian/Jenner Klan, I think even baby Penelope has a miniture version of it.

The Cambridge Satchel is so "London" and I am so obsessed with London fashion which is what attracts me to this bag even more. I was first introduced to this bag by the google chrome advert on TV. If you live in the UK you might know what I'm talking about if not just YouTube "Google Chrome Cambridge Satchel advert" and it should come up. When I saw the ad I was instantly attracted to the bag, let alone the actual story about how it all began and being a Fashion Blogger I found it really inspiring. After all the reviwes that I watched a lot of the vloggers said that the Cambridge Satchel is a very structured bag, one of the reasons being that the bag is made from real strong leather which I guess is a good thing because you know that it will last you a long time and the bag won't really lose it's original shape which is what I think attracts people to the bag in the first place. For some this might be a bit of a hassle if you are someone like me who just throws in whatever you need for the day and you are out the door.

As for me I don't really know which is my favourite, haven't made my mind up just yet but I would love to hear what's your personal favourite or you can just tell me about your all time favourite bag so make sure you comment below!

hope you enjoyed!

London, Milan and New York Street Style!

London, Milan and New York! three places that I would love to go to some day solely because they are some of the biggest fashion capitals in the world. Being able to surround yourself with people who share the same passion for fashion as you do in a gorgeous city, sounds like paradise to me!

LONDON TOWN

London being one of the fashion capitals that have so many different cultures, I definitely believe that it has influenced British fashion in incorporating the different cultures in the artistry of fashion and will probably continue for many years to come. Street Style in particular has been influenced the most because the people of different cultures themselves are allowed to create an outfit including all their own cultural elements. I noticed that London fashion is a lot more grimy and grungy, there is just something alot more raw about British fashion compared to the other cities which is something I love.

In the streets of London she is sporting leather jacket, black pleated mini, black tights, black patent heels and a gorgeous satchel, so perfect for London weather.

This outfit is a lot more casual and still perfect for London weather. Shes wearing a black leather jacket (so versatile, something I need to invest in), plain white T-shirt, beige maxi skirt paired with a statement necklace, can't go wrong with a statement necklace.

MILAN

Milan, Italy holds some of the biggest and well known brands such as Valentino, Versace, Gucci, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana. The city hosts Milan Fashion Week twice a year and the Street Style does not disappoint! My favourite time to look at their Street Style is during Milan Fashion Week because that is when you see all the really trendy models going to their next runway and some well renowned fashionista's taking front seats eagerly waiting to see new collections from amazing designers. I noticed that they always pair statement but simple items together and it always looks super chic!
She's wearing a over sized dark green long coat, boyfriend jeans and black suede high heeled booties. Simple yet Stylish.

This is one of my favourites! I love how both of them look so trendy walking beside each other but she looks particularly stunning. This outfit is so street, casual and edgy all at the same time!

NEW YORK CITY

New York City, somewhere I dreamt of going ever since a was a really young girl and the fashion there is just unreal. New York is the core of fashion I like to think because that's where one of the major Fashion Weeks take place and different creative designers put together a fashion show introducing the new upcoming season trends with some of the A-List celebs in the front row which is very exciting. New York is a fast paced city which is something I love because I enjoy being busy and I don't particularly like having a lot of time on my hands.
I love how simple this outfit is but it looks so fashionable at the same time, all shes wearing is a cowgirl denim shirt, plain black tights and those masculine shoes just to tie it all in and the hair suits her so well.

This outfit is so casual but well put together I really admire people who take time to create their outfits. I love her jeans, it has the washed out effect, panda grey shirt, over-sized brown fury coat and the boots are so rough and tumble #loveit

Fashion Blogger Tag!

1. What's your favourite fashion accessory?
My Rose Gold watch has been my favourite go to accessory because it goes with everything and I love the fact that its so big and chunky on me almost like a males watch its just a shame that its not Marc Jacobs or Micheal Kors.

2.Who's your fashion Role Model?
Rihanna has to be my fashion rold model I love that she is daring and not afraid to take a fashion risk, she always mixes edge with her cool street vibe and she manages to pull of everything she wears as well as her cool new hairstyles. LOOOOOVE HER!

3. What do you always carry with you?
I always carry my phone with me where ever I go. I feel lost without it!

4. How would you describe your style?
Questions like this I always find it hard to answer because I am still young so as I grow older so does my style and I go through so many different phases but for right now I would say that its "Simplistic with a bit of edge".

5. What's your favourite? Jeans, Sunglasses or Heels?
My floral framed sunglasses are definitely my fav! especially in the Summer when the sun is out (obviously).
Can't wait to whip these out this Summer or even for Spring. They make me feel very girly. This Summer I think I will pair this with a cropped top, maxi skirt, gladiator sandals and gold jewellry to pull the whole outfit together.

6. What inspired you to blog about fashion?
Well.. I always kinda grew up around clothes and makeup because I would see my older sister and mum dress up and put makeup on so in my younger years I wanted to be just like them, but I would say about three years ago when I moved abroad I became more interested in clothing and the styling of them. Recently I thought it would be a great idea to document my thoughts and feelings about fashion and beauty which is why I created this blog. So I would say my inspiration came from being exposed to another world of fashion and not from anything in particular.

7. What is your favourite fashion store?
My favourite high street fashion store will have to be Topshop because they sell good quality, fashionable clothes and they have recently just opened up in South Africa, America and several other countries which I think is great! If I could shop at a higher end store my favourite would definitely be Givenchy... I mean do I even have to say anymore the name just speaks for itself.

8. What is your favourite fabric in clothing?
I love denim only because I think that it is so easy to wear and denim is a fabric that never goes out of style. And any other fabric that has some sort of  intricate art work detailing whenever I buy items of clothing I always look at the detailing first because thats whats most important to me when buying clothes.

9. Who are your favourite designers?
My favourite designers are Hubert de Givenchy, Roberto Cavalli and Cristobal Balenciaga.

10. Who or what inspires your style?
The main things that influence the way that I dress is Tumblr, Vogue, People that I have met and things that I come across in my daily life that I can get ideas from and that inspires me.

11. Would you choose to buy something high quality or make it yourself if you could?
I would probably buy something high quality than make it because you could always take it back if you didn't like it where as if you made it yourself you wouldn't be able to do that besides that I don't think that I would be very good at crafting something of good quality.

Hope you enjoyed!
