Acessorize Matte Lipstick | Passionate

For those of you that do not follow me on Twitter or Instagram, I just recently turned 17 on the 12th of November and one of the things that I got was this gorgeous lipstick which is right on trend for this season. I've been wanting a deep shade like this for a long time now and the ones that I was researching were MAC's "Cyber" and "Film Noir" and I was a bit hesitant on getting one of those only because I wasn't completely sure how they were going to look on me, I did however get MAC's "Ruby Woo", because its such a universal, classic retro red shade, I knew I couldn't go wrong getting it, please let me know whether I should do a post on that because I am aware that there tons and tons of video's and posts. Okay, so I should probably get into this:

In the tube it looks like a very deep wine colour which immediately attracted me to it because it's just the shade that I have been looking for, it is also matte which I love because matte finishes are my favourite, some people like more of a glossy finish to their lips and if you are one of these people then I'm glad to let you know that this lipstick does come in a glossier version. It cost only £5.00 which I think is pretty good and sooooo worth it, the staying power is really great and I'm sure that has something to do with the fact that it's matte finish, even though it is matte I don't find it that drying but it would be wise to exfoliate and moisturize before hand. This lipstick comes with 3.5g of product, it also has lip gloss on the top of the lid if you wanted to add gloss over the top of it, I find it great to line your lips with, with a lip brush.

If you are of lighter skin tone and think that this would be too dark for you than I recommend you get "infatuated" which is still a lovely wine colour just not as dark as this one.

The packaging is the classic Accessorize print which is the floral print, very cute!

I did do a quick swatch on my hand so that you guys could see the colour and formulation of the lipstick a bit better. This also helps if you are close to my skin tone and need some indication to what it would look like on you, I know I always find that really helpful.

I think that this lipstick would look really nice with a neutral, simple eye look, winged liner and mascara. It's such a statement vampy shade! Let me know in the comments what you think about this shade or just accessorize makeup in general.

Eco Tools Brushes: Retractable Kabuki & Tapered Blush Brush

Hey guys, I recently went into Boots to get these two brushes. I got the Retractable Kabuki brush because I was in desperate need to apply pressed powder with a brush and not those dreadful powder puffs that come with the MAC Studio Finish powders (NC45) and I got the Tapered Blush brush because I really wanted a fluffy brush that I could use for multiple purposes. These brushes are also eco friendly and are cruelty free which is awesome! I'm just going to do a quick review on both of them so that you can get my opinion on them.

Retractable Kabuki Brush

As you can tell from the picture above the packaging is made with aluminium which is super slick and cool. This is a the newer version of this brush because I am aware that there is an older one that is silver with lighter coloured fibres, I can't really compare the two because I have not tried the older one. I love this brush so much, it is so soft and in my opinion totally worth the £12.99. Overall its just a really handy brush to have because it can apply powder, bronzer and maybe even blush with a light hand as well as being able to carry it around wherever you go not worrying that any bacteria is going to get all over it.

Tapered Blush Brush

As I said before I was in need of a fluffy brush that I could use for multiple purposes and this brush does exactly that. I use it for blush, bronzer and this brush is also great for contouring because it is tapered which allows me to create precise definition to my face without the bronzer going all over the place. This brush can also be used for powder application, its amazing. It cost £7.99 which is not all that bad for what its worth and I just know that both of these brushes are going to last me a very long time judging from the tons of reviews that I have read recently. The ferrule is made from aluminium and the handle is wooden which just shows the quality of this brush.

I'd love to know whether you're thinking about getting these brushes or if you have them already.

TAG: Cofessions of a Beauty Blogger

Source: missbeccabeauty.blogspot.co.uk

I saw this tag on sineaddreamingagain's blog and I immediately felt like I needed to this tag, it seemed like fun. Soooo here it goes!

1. How many hours a week do you spend writing/ editing posts?
Well.. I just started my first year of A-Levels and the work load has been really intense so not as much hours go into blogging as I would like it to but I would say that 2-3 hours maximum, on a weekend when I have free time.

2. Are you a spender or saver?
If I'm being completely honest with myself here, I am definitely a spender whenever I have money I always feel the need to spend it immediately even its something that I don't really want which is really bad, it's something I'm working on though.

3. When is it easier for you to blog?
Definitely on a weekend or during school holidays because I'm free of work.

4. What makes writing behind a computer comfortable for you?
I really enjoy the fact that you don't really have to worry too much about what you like whilst behind a computer and you can literally be where ever and blog which is really cool.

5. What is your worst makeup/ hair habit?
My worst hair habit is that I never brush my hair often enough and I always end up with so many knots underneath my hair it's unreal. And for makeup I can't think of any right now but I'm sure there must be something.

6. What is one quote you wish the world lived by?
Probably "Don't hate what you don't understand"- John Lennon. I think that quote applies to so many different situations in life and different people. I think if people actually tried to understand different motives, we wouldn't be so judgemental of other people's actions.

7. How long do you spend getting ready everyday?
Not too long I don't think, about an hour and a half maybe.

8. Who's your favourite blogger?
My favourite blogger is Kavita (She Wears Fashion) I think that all the outfits she puts together are so edgy and cool and not to mention she's so beautiful and I couldn't possibly pick a favourite Beauty blogger because there's too many.

9. Who is a blogger that you think deserves more subscribers than they have?
http://liveloveinspirefashion.blogspot.com/, she posts really cool outfit ideas and seems like I really nice person! and you should subscribe to her blog.

10. What is one thing that you are excited about in the upcoming year?
I excited about getting my driver's licence and actually driving and just all the new experiences that I am going to experience that I don't know about yet.

11. What is your most awkward blogging moment?
I don't think I really have one but I'm bound to have one at some point in the future. haha

12.How long does it take you to prepare a post?
It usually takes me an hour and half to prepare a post depending on what type of post it is though because if it's a tag like this one it doesn't take me too long as I just answer them as I go along without any plan, which I'm sure you can tell at this point. I feel like tags are more authentic if their not prepared.

13. Are you wearing trousers right now or jogging pants/ PJ bottoms?
I'm wearing comfy jogging pants right now and I don't even feel bad about it.

14. What are you most proud of in life?
Wow.. this is an intense question. Probably getting the grades that I needed to do my A-Levels. :))

I hope you guys somewhat enjoyed reading my "confessions". Some of them I did find hard to answer but I hope it wasn't all that bad.

Vampy Nails #NOTD!

Hey Lady Loves! <3

So, it's like.. 16:32pm and I really felt the need to type up a nail post because, not going to lie I was really feeling these nails in all its mysterious glory! The colour of this nail polish is just so fitting for the season of Autumn. I've really been loving dark nails these past few weeks which is kinda strange for me because I usually go for the lighter colours because I feel it suits me better, however this dark wine, plum shade by Avon has really taken my fancy and I think I'll be wearing a lot of it these up coming weeks and it just seems to go with all my outfits which is always a bonus because we all know there's nothing more annoying than your nails not suited to what you're wearing, well for me anyway.

Step 1: I first put on one coat of Rimmel's base coat/ nail hardener, which is absolutely amazing I use it before I put on any nail polish, it keeps my nails really hard and healthy and prevents my nails from breaking/chipping. I highly recommend this product.

Step 2: Then after that has dried completely I put two coats of the Avon 's "Vamp it" and wait for that to dry completely which I am really bad with by the way, I always end up with some weird print on my nails by the end of it because I don't wait for it to dry. Comment below if you do the same?

Step 3: After the second step I add a little bit of the Kelly Brook gold glitter on my ring finger to finish of the nail look! Really simple!

Leave any comments that you have below and I would love to know what's your go to nail colour for the Autumn season!?

Autumn #OOTD!

Hey, guys... it's been sometime now, I have been incredibly busy these few weeks with trying to get used to my new school and dealing with the amount of homework that I get from my AS subjects that I am doing. However, now that it's half term I have little more time for blogging. (YAAAY!).
Top: New Look
Denim Jacket: Charity Shop
Black leggings: Primark
Chunky black suede boots: New Look (online store)
Chain: Miss Selfridge

I wanted a denim jacket for such a long time and whenever I found one it was always way over my budget so when I found this one I was happy I found it but a bit hesitant for some strange reason but my friend (STEPH) kinda forced me to buy it so I caved in! it was only £5.99 (bargain). And.. as for the boots, I was in great need of a new pair and as soon I saw these on the New Look online store I knew they had to be mine and they were £29.99!

Let me know what you think about this #OOTD? I'm thinking about doing one everyday of this week since I am on half term I will be able to so, almost like a Autumn Look Book.

Autumn Tag 2013!

I'm here once again with another post and I thought what better way to start the new season of Autumn, with a tag. I'm really excited about Autumn and Winter that's coming in soon as well. Personally these coming months are my favourite because it means Halloween, Bon Fire Night, MY BIRTHDAY and Christmas! so much to look forward to and I always find really cute outfits to put together, layering is the best! So without further of do I am going to get into the Tag.

1. Favourite thing about it?
Basically what I mentioned above!

2. Favourite drink?
My favourite drink is probably anything to do with caffeine, if I'm being completely honest Hot Chocolate would probably be my last resort. I also really enjoy going to Costa and trying out the new drinks that they bring out for the particular season.

3. Favourite scent/ candle?
I absolutely love burning amazing smelling candles in my room, two of my all time favourite scented candles are Liquorice by the Jelly Belly brand and sweet vanilla by Price's, I'm still on the hunt for Pumpkin scented one though that seems to be a common favourite.

4. Best lipstick?
I have really been liking a nude from Seventeen in the shade "Bon Bon" it's a really nice mauvy colour that compliments my skin tone and doesn't wash me out but I've also been really loving the Maybelline Baby Lips in Hydrate, its really moisturising and I included them in my previous post if you want to know more about them.

5. Go to moisturiser?
My go to moisturiser is anyone that belongs to the brand Simple, all their products make my skin feel really soft, smooth and hydrated, probably because most of their products tend to be water based and I have combination skin and these products avoid any clogging in my pores.

6. Go to colours for the eyes?
I usually go for gold/bronze/chocolate shades no matter what the season may be but during Autumn I love wearing plum and cranberry shades in the crease mixed with a chocolate brown colour. SO PRETTY.

7. Favourite music or band/ singer to listen to?
I don't really have a particular band/singer that I like listening to during Autumn but I am really loving The Weeknd's Kiss Land album and Drake's Hold On, we're going home. I been listening a lot to Pia Mia's cover of Hold on, I'll leave the link to her cover at the end of this post for guys to listen to.

8. Favourite outfit to wear?
My favourite outfit to wear is just a fitted jeans/leggings with a big cosy jumper a scarf paired with combat boots and cool gold jewellery.

9. Autumn treat?
Cookies and hot/cold milk which is an all year round treat for me!

10. Favourite place to be?
My favourite place to be would probably be at home watching a good film. nowhere too complicated.

Hoped that you enjoyed this tag!

I'd love for you to do this tag even if you're not tagged and tweet it to me I will definitely read it!

Mini Beauty Haul.

Hey you guys! feels like such a long time.... I have been completely M.I.A for these past few weeks and that's because the new school year has started and I started my first year of A-Levels which has been really hectic so far and I've only been for 3 weeks but I won't babble on too much about that I'll leave it for another post.

Without further or do, I should probably start telling you what I got in this mini haul of mine, which is micro- mini by the way, its just a few things that I picked up that I have been wanting for quite some time now.

Maybelline, Baby Lips

When I found out that Baby Lips were coming to the UK I was really excited! after reading/watching so many American blog posts and YouTube videos about them, I couldn't wait to try them out and see what all they hype was about. I decided to get two of them, one in "Hydrate" which is just a plain lip balm with SPF 20 which is an added bonus for this up coming cold weather and the other in "Cherry Me "which is a tinted red lip balm which is buildable if you are going for deeper red. I have used both of them and they are really moisturising and stay on for about 8 hours if you don't eat or drink anything within those 8 hours which is pretty impossible for me. They are sold for £2.99 each which is pretty expensive for what they are but the packaging is pretty cute so I think that makes up for it. Will I purchase them again? yes, because I want to try out the others and..... how could I forget they smell great!

Real Techniques, Expert Face Brush

Well.... We all know the Real Techniques brushes by Samantha Chapman, one of the Pixiwoo sisters from the YouTube world its really famous on the blogsphere spectrum. I personally love Real Techniques brushes I think that they are the best high street brand brushes out there which means that they are really inexpensive, this brush cost me £5.99 which is half the price, there was a buy one get one half price offer . I really like having full coverage and this brush does exactly that so if you like that as well I highly recommend you get this brush, its really soft and densely packed which I love and... I'm going to go into too much detail because you've probably read quite a lot about this brush already.

Maybelline, The rocket volume express mascara

This another really famous beauty product on the blogsphere, which I have really got late compared to some others. I'm not going even lie I found this mascara to be really disappointing, I really thought that I was going to like it a lot more than I did especially because I'm such a huge fan of Maybelline mascaras. I didn't really like the consistency of it or the wand in fact, the wand is quite plasticy which is not something that I like and doesn't really add much volume to my eyelashes either they just clump together. Maybe... I have to wait for it to get a little bit older so that the consistency can get thicker because I usually prefer my mascaras after I've had them for a few weeks, am I the only one? Overall the first impressions of this mascara was not great but maybe I just need to be patient with it!

Let me know in the comments if you've tried any of these products and what's your thoughts on them?

Review: modelsown- Blubblegum

Hey! today I decided to do another nail polish review on the modelsown Bubblegum from the Ice Neon collection. I thought that this would help some you make a decision on whether to buy this product or not, especially if you are a lover of nail polishes like I am. Apologies for the lack of posts these past two weeks its just that my computer was not allowing me to upload pictures, which is a definite no no in my books but now that its back on track I can blog a lot more now!

I was really attracted to this collection: 1) because I have really been loving neon's these past few months and 2) because they are awesome for the summer time. I have been switching from this to the Barry M gelly nail paints this summer. I wrote all about the Gelly range from Barry M in my previous post if you would want to have a look at that. When I first decided to get this nail polish I thought it was going to be quite sheer and not opaque enough, to my liking. I was sooooo wrong about that, the colour pay off is incredible one coat of this and you are good to go, I have to say though it does dry matte so if you are not into that you can always just add a top coat which is what I do for the shine factor. It has great staying power for about 4-5 days which is a lot better than some others that I own. The price is much more the average nail polish price at £5.00. The packaging has a frosted finish and the aim of this was to be able to put it in a refrigerator, this is so that the fluoro can keep its brightness this does not affect the nail polish in any way I have kept mine in fridge ever since I bought it and it still works just fine, the consistency has not thickened at all as I though it would. I would have to give this product a 3/5 , I would have preferred the polish to have a shiny finish and for the price to be a little lower, other than that I don't really have anything negative to say about this!

I hope this quick post helped some of you. I talk you in my next post!

Review: Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint by Barry M

Hey guys! today I am going to be reviewing the fairly new range of nail paints by Barry M. I do not own a lot of nail polishes by Barry M, the only one that I had before I bought two from this range was one from the magnetic range that came out months ago so when I heard that this new range was going to be a gel like formula I had to go out and get it, especially after I did some research on the product and found that they had so many different, unique colours that I didn't own already. I only have two, Prickly Pear and Blueberry those were the two that stuck out for me the most especially for the summer time.

Prickly Pear and Blueberry

Now on to the actual product, the formula of the nail paint is no different from any other nail polish in my opinion. However the nail polish does have a very shiny finish which is what gives it that gel nails type of look. It has amazing staying power compared to some of the other nail polishes that I own, lasts up 5 days without chipping with top and base coat. Some of my other nail polishes last up 2-3 days with top and base coat which is really disappointing.

Prickly Pear is the one that I am currently wearing and I have to say it is my favourite out of the two only because I feel like it goes better with my skin tone. My mum did think that I was a little strange for picking these two because she thought that they were very similar, I do see where she's coming from but on the nails they look completely different (the pics don't really do it any justice).

Overall I think this product is really good I think it is completely worth the price which is £3.99 and I would give it a 4/5 the only thing that stopping me from giving it a 5/5 is that I do wish the formula was a bit thicker, other than that I'm completely in love. I am definitely planning on getting some other colours that I've had my eye on such Lychee, Green Berry and Dragon Fruit.

I would love to know which ones are your favourites, if you own any or if you are planning on trying them out. Feel free to leave any comments!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your day! :-)

I Heart Summer Tag!

Hey guys! I'm finally getting the chance to do the I <3 Summer Tag! I am really enjoying my summer holiday and I hope you are too! I have been tagged by the lovely RazMaTaz- Girl otherwise known as Tasmin.

Soooo first question:

1. Favourite bronzer for summer?
The bronzer that I have been using this summer is Bourjois bronzing powder in Olive. I have been using this bronzing powder for about 4-5 months now as a contouring powder and I will definitely be re-purchasing!

2. You're relaxing on a hammock on a tropical island, what would you be sipping on?
Erm... this is a tough one, I think I would be sipping on any form of coconut water. (I love it)

3. Favourite summer lipstick?
I do love my staple red lipstick from Barry M but this summer I have been wearing a lot of this pink lipstick by cosmic kisses, its a lot like the chubby sticks from Clinique.

4. Pool or Beach?
Definitely the Beach, back home in South Africa my family and I have a beach house, so I kind of grew up living near the beach.

5. Summer = crazy hair, what's your must have styling product?
My natural hair is wavy/curly and during the summer I don't really like using my hair straightener so instead I just use V05 plump it up spray after I get out of the shower and then let my hair dry naturally and that usually leaves me with really nice beachy waves.

6. Sun bathing or Fake tan?
Well.. I'm Indian so I don't really need to get any browner haha.

7. Favourite summer nail polishes?
I've been really loving the Barry M Gelly nail polishes this summer I have Prickly Pear and Blueberry. I will go into them with a bit more detail in a review post, soon.

8. Any Summer traditions?
I don't have any summer traditions unfortunately but I should definitely make some.

9. Favourite summer scent?
I'm still wearing my Britney Spears radiance which I love and I wear a few others which are tropical summer sprays from boots.

10. Favourite BBQ food?
I don't really have a particular favourite. I do however really enjoy BBQ food in general.

11. Favourite summer proof makeup?
Maybelline 24hr stay foundation is definitely a product that stays on forever and does not melt which is a definite must in the summer months.

12. Any summer vacations planned?
I do not have any summer vacations planned but I was planning to see some of my friends in Guernsey which is another island not too far away, whether or not that will plan out, depends on what I have going on.

I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as enjoyed typing it! and enjoy whats left of Summer 2013!

Floral Headcrown kinda day!

Hey! Hope you guys are doing well. On Sunday I went to see Union J, James Arthur and JLS (headline act) live which was incredible! Big Gig in the park usually happens every year in Jersey and this was the first year that I was actually able to go because I haven't really been living here for too long. My friend Amber and I went together and had a blast we waited in line from 4:00pm which was when the event was meant to begin and it all ended at 10:00pm. It did rain but I refused to let that get in the way of having a good time. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely want to go next year! I decided to wear a maxi skirt because I really have been loving maxi skirts for a long time and thought that this would be the perfect event to wear it to and paired that would a crop top which was perfect for the weather (summer) until it started raining, to be completely honest I quite enjoyed the rain because its much better than being in sweltering heat with that many people surrounding you. I really enjoyed wearing this outfit because it was really easy to put together as well as easy to wear and I had to bring the whole outfit together with the floral headcrown which ties in with the whole gig/festival/concert vibe!

Hey! So today I'm here with another week of my favourite Tumblr reblogs! I have not been very consistent with my blogging at all this summer but that's not because I have just been lazing around in the sun but because before the summer had begun I didn't really know that I would have A-Level tasks to do, which for the record is extremely difficult.. so I have just been concentrating on that as well as enjoying being off school. Even though I am busy in other areas of my life I never neglect my social networks! :-)

Cool wedges/ Ombre baby blue dress/ summery cool heels/ Selena Gomez/ Kim Kardashian/ Short pink nails with midi rings/ Flower chick/ Lipsticks/ Lana Del Rey/ Rihanna and her bestfriend/ Melonade/ Neon Nikes/ Versace/ Two toned Celine bag/ cute monkey/ Creepers/ Kylie and Pia/ super cute outfits/ amazing bun/top knot/ amazing white heels/ cute desk area/ Gangsta chick/ neon and gold chain/ Kylie/ Orange Celine bag/

Review: MAC Paint Pots

Hey you guys.. today I decided to do a review on the MAC Paint Pots which has been featured in previous posts that I have done but I thought it would be good to idea to give you guys a run down of my thoughts of this product. Maybe this will help if you are doing some research before you spend the money because lets be honest its not the cheapest of products. I am also including swatches so you guys can see more of the pigmentation and formula of the product. I am aware that there are dupes as well which I will include information about in this post if you want to save a little bit money.

The two that I have and will be reviewing is "Quite Natural" and "Indianwood". Quite Natural has been in other posts of mine and Indianwood is one that I got recently. MAC says that these are " A highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense vibrant finish", all of which I agree with. I first got the Quite Natural paint pot when a MAC makeup consultant recommended that I use this to prevent my eyeshadows from creasing and at the time I didn't really know a lot about the product but I decided to try it anyway being the impulsive person that I sometimes can be. So she recommended one closest to my skin colour which was Quite Natural, after doing research on the product I found that maybe "Groundwork" would have been a better option for my skin colour but Quite Natural still works just fine. I use it as a base as well as a primer and I have not been disappointed.

Left: Quite Natural, Right: Indianwood

Quite Natural is a matte chocolate brown colour which works great if you want to do an intense eye look. Because I loved Quite Natural so much the second time around I decided to go for a paint pot that had a bit more colour to it and I immediately gravitated towards Indianwood because I usually just stick to gold/bronze natural eye looks so I knew that I would get the most use out of Indianwood. I have worn Indianwood on its own all over the lid with a dark brown eyeshadow in my crease and it looked so good and simple at the same time and what I love about this product is that it lasts really long, approximately 8 hours if I counted correctly and because it is like a cream eyeshadow there is no fall out.

This is what the colour pigmentation looked like on me. The dupes for the MAC Paint Pots are the famous Maybelline Colour Tattoos that many beauty bloggers seem to love, I personally do not own or have not tried any of the the Maybelline Colour Tattoos as yet but I am very eager to try them out and see how they compare to the paint pots.

The Indianwood paint pot is a lot like MAC's Woodwinked (Veluxe Pearl) eyeshadow but in the pan Woodwinked looks a lot darker than Indianwood; on the skin it looks exactly the same so if you enjoy using eyeshowdows more than cream eyeshadows I definitely recommend to try Woodwinked out.

In terms of the packaging of the product, I personally love it! it's the classic sleek MAC packaging. However, these are glass pots so if you are thinking about travelling with them you might want to be a bit careful with how you pack them. Overall I love MAC Paint Pots and definitely look forward to purchasing more. I give this product a 8/10 I would give it a 10/10 but unfortunately the price(£15.00) does bring it down a little bit.

Well Done if you managed to get through this post!

What's In My Makeup Bag/ Daily Makeup Look

Hey Bloggers,

I decided to do a What's In My Makeup Bag/ Daily Makeup Look post because I enjoy reading other people posts on this and find it very interesting. What I carry in my makeup bag are kind of the products that I would use from Monday to Friday to school, very natural and simple.

Face

On my face I first apply my NC45 MAC studio sculpt foundation mixed with LancĂ´me foundation in the shade 10/11 not entirely sure because it is a sample. The mixture of these two foundations gives me full coverage and the correct shade. The MAC foundation also has SPF 15 which means its also great if the sun is out which is very rare. After I have applied my foundation evenly I conceal/ highlight with my MAC studio finish concealer in the shade NC42 underneath my eyes, thereafter I contour my cheek bones with Bourjois bronzing powder in 14- Olive which it great product to contour with if you have my skin tone.

Cheek

For my cheeks I don't really wear blush on a daily basis but I do sometimes add a bit of the baked bronzer/highlight from accessorize in Bondi shade 4 just at the top of my cheek bones after I have contoured.

Eyes

On my eyes I wear MAC's paint pot in the shade "Quite Natural" which is like "Painterly" but for darker skinned girls, I highly recommend this product. It acts as a primer as well as base for my eyeshadow and lasts literally the whole day. Over the top of that I put Bourjois bronzy/gold natural eyeshadow all over my lid and little bit dragged up to my brow. After I have done that I sometimes opt to wear a bit of liquid liner depends on the amount of time I have in the morning really, I then curl my eyelashes and apply Rimmel's  intense black sexy curves mascara just to make me look more awake.

Lips

Usually for my lips I wear any lip balm that is within my reach and I'm really loving the Nivea ones at the moment if I feel like need a bit of change I will wear a nude lipstick, a new one that I'm loving that I got recently is a nude lipstick by SEVENTEEN in the shade Bon Bon it also has red undertones to it so it would pretty much look good on anyone.

Brushes

In terms of the brushes that I use on a daily basis is the Real Techniques Stippling brush by Samantha Chapman, one of the Pixiwoo sisters which I'm sure many of you beauty bloggers will be familiar with. I use this brush to apply my foundation with and never fails to give a flawless finish. Next brush is a Body Collection powder/ blush brush which I use to blend the bronzer in with as well the highlight so that there aren't any harsh lines. For my eyeshadow I use the MAC 252 shader brush this brush works amazing to pack on eyeshadow with and blend it all in without it being a fluffy brush. And lastly a densely packed eyeshadow brush from Body Collection which I sometimes use to add a light eyeshadow to the inner corners of my eyes to brighten up tired eyes.

I do sometimes carry these products with me if I need any touch ups which is very rare because all these products have great staying power. In a hurry I just carry my MAC studio fix pressed powder in the shade NC45 and that usually is all I need throughout the day. As you can probably see my daily makeup look is very natural and probably sounds a lot more time consuming than it actually is but now that it is summer and I am on holiday I can be a bit more adventurous with my makeup looks and be a lot more experimental with different products. I hope everyone is having a lovely summer so far!
