Starting to feel a lot like Christmas...

So, this evening I'm to you guys with a lifestyle post, it's been quite sometime since I've done a lifestyle post and I'm not really sure why because I really enjoy ding these types of posts, I think that maybe I just get too side-tracked with beauty and style posts that I forget about doing these.

Recently, my friend Amber and I went to see the tuning on of the lights which was super cool because I wasn't feeling particularly Christmassy and I was hoping that seeing all the beautiful lights would get me in the mood because my favourite time of the year is Christmas/winter time! and there was late night shopping, how could I possibly forget.. here's a few pics from the night.

This is me standing in front of a massive Christmas tree as you can probably tell I look pretty tiny standing in front of it!

This nutcracker guy was cool, I mean we just couldn't resist not taking a picture with him.

There was a live band playing Christmas songs which definitely got me in the mood haha.

*magical

Our Sticky Toffee Coffee's from Coffee Republic which we thought would be nice but turned out to be way too strong for my liking.

Most of the trees had lights on them.. sooo beautiful!

Hope you guys somewhat enjoyed reading this christmasy type post if you would like me to do any posts in particular then you can either comment or tweet me! because I'm always on Twitter.

Acessorize Matte Lipstick | Passionate

For those of you that do not follow me on Twitter or Instagram, I just recently turned 17 on the 12th of November and one of the things that I got was this gorgeous lipstick which is right on trend for this season. I've been wanting a deep shade like this for a long time now and the ones that I was researching were MAC's "Cyber" and "Film Noir" and I was a bit hesitant on getting one of those only because I wasn't completely sure how they were going to look on me, I did however get MAC's "Ruby Woo", because its such a universal, classic retro red shade, I knew I couldn't go wrong getting it, please let me know whether I should do a post on that because I am aware that there tons and tons of video's and posts. Okay, so I should probably get into this:

In the tube it looks like a very deep wine colour which immediately attracted me to it because it's just the shade that I have been looking for, it is also matte which I love because matte finishes are my favourite, some people like more of a glossy finish to their lips and if you are one of these people then I'm glad to let you know that this lipstick does come in a glossier version. It cost only £5.00 which I think is pretty good and sooooo worth it, the staying power is really great and I'm sure that has something to do with the fact that it's matte finish, even though it is matte I don't find it that drying but it would be wise to exfoliate and moisturize before hand. This lipstick comes with 3.5g of product, it also has lip gloss on the top of the lid if you wanted to add gloss over the top of it, I find it great to line your lips with, with a lip brush.

If you are of lighter skin tone and think that this would be too dark for you than I recommend you get "infatuated" which is still a lovely wine colour just not as dark as this one.

The packaging is the classic Accessorize print which is the floral print, very cute!

I did do a quick swatch on my hand so that you guys could see the colour and formulation of the lipstick a bit better. This also helps if you are close to my skin tone and need some indication to what it would look like on you, I know I always find that really helpful.

I think that this lipstick would look really nice with a neutral, simple eye look, winged liner and mascara. It's such a statement vampy shade! Let me know in the comments what you think about this shade or just accessorize makeup in general.
